Most of the people I know were surprised when they found out that I wanted a puppy and that I wanted a puppy that would be in the house. I am a clean freak still and I vaccuum everyday so that I don't have any dog hair around! But Miley is so cute that anyone can see why I wanted her. Here are some pictures of her sleeping. Her favorite place to sleep is on top of Jade or myself...that might be a problem when she is 75 pounds!

Our Home
Jade and I bought a house in November 2006. Our home was built in 1998, so it is fairly new. The home we bought is actually only two blocks away from the apartment we were living in, so we knew a lot of people in our neighborhood. I have had so much fun decorating our home and have been thankful for my job at All Through the House (otherwise we would be big time broke!). We have three bedrooms, the master bedroom, Kyle's bedroom (who has been living with us since September) and an extra bedroom for visitors. It has been a nice upgrade from our two bedroom, one shower apartment. Although I do not have everything exactly how I would like it, the house is coming along. I am anxious to get the nice weather here so that I can work on the outside! Jade wants the nice weather also so that he can use his cool new interchangable yard tool that my parents got him for birthday. (He actually filled it up with gas and turned it on in the garage just to see how it worked!) I have posted a lot of pictures of our house below, these are pictures I have taken of the downstairs. One day, when I finish the bedrooms, I will post pictures. It may take years!
This is our front room. It is really small, in Utah they call it the home teaching room!
Our family room starts what they call our great room. There are no barriers between our family room, dining room, and kitchen. It is kind of roomy and makes our house look bigger; always a plus!
I am standing in our family room, taking this picture. If you look closely, you will see the huge dog bowls on the kitchen floor...that is because Miley is going to be huge!
This is one of my favorite pieces of furniture I have. This kitchen hutch is on the wall right next to my kitchen table.
There is our backyard! It is not very big, but it does have a side yard that has more space.

Our Puppy Miley
Miley was given to me for my Christmas present! Jade, a sworn no dogs in the house man, has since changed his tune. Can you blame him? She is sooooo cute and cuddly. We love having her around, even after getting in trouble she wants to give you kisses! Miley was under ten pounds when we got her, but in the two months we have had her, she has grown to forty pounds. She will be a huge black lab!
