Trip With Two Kids

I decided to start my spring break early and headed to Washington with my two kids without my husband! We had an extremely nice Delta agent that gave Jade a security pass so he could help me through to the gate with my kids - what a relief! They were really great except the fact that they did not sleep - we left Utah at 9:40pm. They were just too anxious to see Grandma and Grandpa!

Everyone was so nice to me in the airport - maybe this cute kid was the reason!

Spring Will You Come Soon?

My kids (not to mention some parents) are very anxious for warm weather. Every once in a while we get a glimpse of sunny days but over all we are freezing in Utah! Have I mentioned that I hate snow? And it just snowed here ... where are you spring?

So, I love my kids but am I a bad parent when I am more in love with them when they are sleeping peacefully? Some days it just seems like I am! :)

Playing with Dolls

My son loves dolls! He does this whine when McKenna has a doll and won't share. He loves to look at their faces and comb their hair. He was really funny today and tried to feed his baby a bottle - he finally gave up and tried the bottle himself!

So Tired

McKenna tries to optimize all her time with Grandma and Grandpa when they are around - she has decided that sleeping is the thing to take out. As the pictures show, she is having a hard time keeping up with this. Grandma and Grandpa are just so much fun!
