Looking for Dad

Miley thinks that she needs to hlep Jade with the yard work all the time. The problem with her helping is that she is more trouble than help. She constantly has to be watched or else she will start picking up Jade's tools in the garage and start bringing them to him, she won't stop until all the tools are strung out on our lawn.
So today, after Jade told her she had to stay inside, she watched him through the window. She searched for him if he went around the side of the house and would wag her tail like a maniac when she could see him. Even though she was so dang cute, Jade still wouldn't let her come out with him...he is so mean!

Miley Loves the Camera!

Any time we get the camera out, Miley comes running over for her shot. She knows she is the only one who ever gets pictures taken of her. She is a little spoiled I think! And yes, our black lab has bluish-greenish eyes. We thought it was a little wierd too.

Easter at the Andersen's

I got up early to set out Easter baskets for Miley, Jade, and Kyle on Easter morning. Of course, Miley was on my heels the entire time! Miley was not going to wait to play with her new toy until the lazy boys got out of bed, so she went to town on the bunny we got her. The bunny lasted two days before she destroyed it, the bone lasted twenty minutes, and she does not particularily like the frisbee. Kyle has tried to get her to catch it, but she just waits for it to fall, then picks it up and brings it back to him...she needs a lot of practice.
Jade and Kyle finally decided to grace us with their presence much later that morning. Kyle got a basket full of chips, because he had a little tantrum one day when he was going to work due to the fact that Jade and I had eaten all the chips and he wanted them for work! I really am related to that kid, I have unexplainable tantrums too!! He also got an airfreshener for his room, man, boys can stink! Jade got a little tiny basket, compared to Kyle. I let him sweat it out a little until I showed him the hidden edger for his interchangable yard tool. It was an unneccessary Easter gift, but we were going to get it anyway...might as well give it to him as a gift! We hope you all had a great Easter. We love all our family and friends that we don't get to see as often as we would like to.
