Our little library in Spanish Fork is great! They always have wonderful programs for the kids. I took my two kids to a fun animal story time! The kids were in heaven!

Why do They Grow up so Fast?
River is six months old and he is getting so big. He weighs 20 pounds and the doctor told me he was on the skinny side! That is because he is 29.5 inches long! So he definitely is not missing meals, he is just 90% for his weight and 99% for height - he is a tall, healthy boy.
At six months, he loves his momma - and says my name when he is upset and wants to cuddle with me! He has started getting stranger anxiety - not the best thing about six months. He has finally stopped gagging and throwing up when eating baby food - he really enjoys nursing! He loves his sister and giggles whenever he sees her. He sits up on his own but refuses to roll! And he has started to compete with his sister in who can talk the most! We love him so much and are so very happy that Heavenly Father sent him to our family when He did.

Things I Want to Remember
McKenna has such a big personality right now - she thinks she is hilarious! One day she wanted to dress River and her as potato heads!
I have the cutest little boy ever! He looks exactly like his sister when she was six months.
My kids love each other right now and River will let McKenna maul him - that might not last.
My kids both love watching the wiggles! It is a great babysitter, it also helps that the songs are catchy and we kind of like them too!
McKenna LOVES olives and has learned how to put them on her fingers!
This is the beautiful wake up call I get in the morning - all too soon she will be a teenager and not want to come cuddle with her mom and dad.
This is what 11:00am church looks like for our family!
McKenna went sledding for the first time this year. Kind of liked it, but mostly just enjoyed being around people, she really is a fun little girl!

New Year's Eve
We went to the Provo Mall for First Night this year and McKenna had a really good time. She watched Jade and I perform in a dancing heads video - so much fun! She watched Polynesian dancers, got three balloon animals, made candy art, got her face painted, and made some crafts. We did this all by 10:00pm and then went home. Jade and I watched the ball drop on the TV right after we crawled into bed and went to sleep. I can't even remember if we kissed at midnight! Oh the life of parents with two small children - couldn't ask for anything more! Welcome 2010!
