McKenna Turns Three!

I can't believe that my baby girl is three years old. Time has flown by. She makes us laugh everyday and is quick to give hugs and kisses. Can't imagine life without her - even when she gives us attitude!

We decided that as her Birthday party we would take her to Build a Bear Workshop and let her pick out an animal...River got one too as her birthday guest! It was fun to watch them choose their animal and accessories - they were obsessed with "bathing" their puppies in the air bath.

Christmas Morning

Christmas, what a great time to spend with family. It's the most wonderful time of the year --- It's also the time of the year when you relaize how completely spoiled your children are! :)

The kids figured out how to open presents quickly, though River was way to interested in watching everyone else open their gifts that he still had all his Santa gifts to open after McKenna and Tessa were done!

River loved his lion from Aunt Ashley and also enjoyed Tessa's My Little Pony --- he definetely has an older sister!

The kids all had a good time playing dress ups!

I am so grateful that my whole family was able to get together this Christmas! I love being around all of them and couldn't hope to have better parents or siblings. I really think that the best gift on Christmas is knowing that I have an eternal family that I love.

Christmas Eve Pajamas

I love the tradition of getting Christmas pajamas!

Maggiano's Little Italy

We went out to eat for Christmas Eve this year. We got all dressed up and drove up to Bellevue for a fancy dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy. If you ever get the opportunity to go to Maggiano's, do not give it up. This restaurant has the most amazing food - well worth the steep price tag.

The evening was so relaxing and fun - we were all able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about cooking and cleaning up! Plus, it is fun to get dressed up and go out! My kids are too cute not to show off!

Gingerbread Houses

We had our first ever Gingerbread contest this year! Each family was in charge of one house - we were going to have a judge, but we decided that it was so much fun we didn't need a winner!

The kids enjoyed eating all the candy - that is what I enjoyed mostly also...Jade complained that I made him do all the work!

My kids can out eat Tessa in candy even with their hands tied behind their backs! They are sugar heads.

Before Christmas Festivities

My family gradually made it to Washington this year for Christmas. McKenna was able to go with my sister on the 15th and spend a whole week with Grandma and Grandpa before we got there. The rest of my family came trickling in during the next week. McKenna loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa and was able to play with Tessa all day. Thanks Kyle and Jen for watching her while Grandma and Grandpa were at work - she had a blast!

River came the following weekend and Grandma and Grandpa started a week of spoiling. They started with adorable dress outfits.

They got cute Disney dolls and matching blankets - River got a Woody doll that he continues to call Buzz. Then they got Disney pajamas.

They also unwrapped some fun treats, like Rudolph themed lollipops.

This was all BEFORE Christmas. My children were champs at unwrapping presents long before Christmas morning. So much fun!
