McKenna had her two month check up this week and as you can see she seems to be eating plenty! Luckily my dad was here helping me get adjusted to going back to work and so he got to be the mean one that held her hands while she got her shots. That is a sad day when you hear your baby cry like that...it only lasted a minute or two but she was sore that night and cried when we moved her around. I guess a day of being sad is worth it if she doesn't have to get those diseases.
I had to go back to work this week and I was fine until Friday - man is it hard to leave her. I knew she was in good hands - she loves her Grandpa - but I still wanted to be the one holding her all day. I hope this gets easier...Jade told me the other day that there is less than sixty days of school left before the summer - then I can be with her all day every day! It is weird how your life ans priorities change after bringing these little people into the world - she is too dang cute to not be around all the time!!

I saw this on one of Kat's blogs and had to do it. I think McKenna looks like Jade and it is a very sad thing - since I did all the work, but this site says she looks more like me! Woohoo! I even tried it again with a picture that everyone says looks like Jade and it still same out looking more like me - only 3% though. I am the winner now but we will have to see as she grows up who she turns out to be - maybe she will just continue to look more and more like me!!!!

Our First Trip

McKenna and I went to Washington last week to spend time with my family. Needless to say, McKenna was never put down the entire week - I only got to hold her when it was time for her to eat! We had a lot of fun and McKenna did so well on the plane - no crying at all! I wish we were closer to home, it is really hard to be so far away from your mom and dad when you have a baby. We will have to make many trips home.
